17th May 2026 Hiking - Walking: Around Felixstowe Wind Direction: Wind Stength: Surf / Sea State: Air Temperature: Sea Temperature: Weather: sunny periods Max Speed: Distance Covered: Sunday 17th May - walks **** – Around Felixstowe – sunny periods. Sunday dawned sunny so Mag and I headed down to Felixstowe seafront at 6 for a brilliant early morning walk along the prom snapping a few pics on the way, in fact the first photo I took was chosen as a BBC editors Pick and Gillian used it on Look East, I later learned that I got a pic on yesterday BBC Breakfast of the beach hut reflections down near The Dip, unfortunately I was too late to see it on Iplayer:( We walked just past The Fludyers hotel to take a pic of the fishing boat on the beach before returning through the Spa Garden, a mass of blooms! Then too it easy for the rest of the day, doing my exercises, watched a bit of the ladies rugby before Maeva arrived to celebrate her mums birthday, Mag had baked a cake :) When our company left I then watched the Red Roses beat France in a top game to win the 6 Nations!
